Rosmarino is a heritage Italian restaurant in Fortitude Valley, built around long tables, generous food, and wine that actually matters. Since 2021, we have hosted intimate celebrations that feel nothing like a wedding venue and everything like the best dinner party of your life.
The space is warm, candlelit, and unpretentious. An outdoor courtyard softened with trailing greenery. An interior full of linen, stone, and Italian character. It is not a blank canvas. It is a setting with personality, and it works best for couples who want their guests to feel at home.
Every celebration at Rosmarino is handled personally. Lauren, co-owner and wedding coordinator, oversees each event from first enquiry to final goodbye. You work with one person. You always know where things stand.
Rosmarino operates on a venue hire and minimum spend model. The hire fee secures exclusive access to the space for your celebration. Your food, beverage, and any enhancements then contribute toward a minimum spend commitment.
Think of it simply: the hire is the reservation. The minimum spend is the celebration. Everything you choose including the menu, the wine, and the extras counts toward it.
There are no hidden charges. No service fees added at the end. What you see is what you spend.
The figures below outline the total commitment for each day. Venue hire and minimum food and beverage spend are listed separately for clarity. The total is what matters.
All food and beverage selections including menus, packages, canapés, and enhancements contribute toward the minimum spend. Venue hire is payable separately upon booking confirmation.
A 2% service fee applies to all celebrations. This is distributed directly to your waitstaff as gratuity.

Canapés are available as an arrival course from $50pp. A natural way to open the evening while guests settle in.

Beverage packages are available for simplicity, or we can work with you on a more tailored approach.
Our outdoor courtyard is where the night shifts up a gear. Candlelit, open to the sky, and just the right size for dancing, speeches, or simply keeping the evening going long after dinner ends.
Post-dinner courtyard access is available as an extension to your celebration. If it is not added on, organising what happens after dinner falls to you. We recommend booking it. It is the difference between a dinner and a proper night.
Courtyard access is included from the start of your booking for whole-venue celebrations. The above applies to extended post-dinner use.
An intimate courtyard ceremony, followed by cocktails and dinner inside. Unhurried, personal, and entirely Italian in spirit. No marquee. No logistics to manage across two locations. Just a beautiful setting and a celebrant who says exactly the right words.
This format suits couples who want the day to feel simple and considered. The ceremony happens in the courtyard. Guests move inside for drinks and dinner. The evening unfolds naturally from there.
Full coordination support including timeline, vendor communication, and on-the-day management is available as an add-on for couples who want someone to carry the detail.
Every couple at Rosmarino works directly with Lauren. The following additions are available to build out your celebration exactly as you want it.
The difference between hoping the day runs smoothly and knowing it will. Includes an RSVP platform, seating planner, full timeline development, vendor communication, and in-person planning meetings with Lauren. Everything is taken care of so you arrive as a guest at your own wedding.
Rosmarino is closed on Sundays. Etna, our sister venue, opens its doors. Sunday celebrations at Etna carry their own energy: louder, looser, more antipasti and pizza than formality. Exactly right for the couple who wants a genuinely relaxed Italian gathering.
The menu leans into antipasti, pizza, and abundant shared plates. The vibe is vibrant, warm, and above all, fun.
Etna bookings are available exclusively on Sundays. Enquire separately for availability.
